Vermicompost

Just few days back got an opportunity to get feedback from one of farmer at Jhadol, Udaipur to whom i tried to provide market linkages for vermicompost under the product segment (private label) of Rural Kites during last year.

He said one benefit he has received; now he is able to utilize production capacity of his unit to fullest as whole lots of vermicompost (when it is ready) are being packed into bags and transferred to Rural Kites inventory on time.

Although somehow i also observed that he is not getting what he expected in terms of price from our side.

We as a startup and only one year old do had learning’s over last one year while working with him and selling his products into market.

May be by this time we are not able to meet his expectations in terms of price but definitely will strive hard now onwards to do so…As motive of Rural Kites is to provide market linkages to outputs of various livelihood initiatives taken up but at the same time to ensure fair price for them also.
